Background
I started this website in 2004 when I moved to a village called Ginoles in the South of France. Originally, the website was called 'Diary of a Ginolais' and was intended to let friends and relatives know how I was getting on.
Since then I have spent nearly a year with VSO in Hanoi and, most recently, 10 months travelling about the UK on a canal boat with my partner, Francoise.
Now we are living in Malvern in Worcestershire.
I plan to keep the website going as long as people continue to read it. However, it will no longer be a diary, as such. Instead, I will just rattle on about anything that interests or amuses me.
